Community Engagement & Public Meeting Access

During this period when public gatherings have been canceled, the City of Rochester is implementing ways to continue engaging with residents, businesses, and other stakeholders on various community planning efforts. Specific planning projects, such as the Consolidated Plan, the Inner Loop North Transformation Study, major street projects, and others are using video conference platforms to hold virtual meetings. 

The City Planning Commission, Rochester Preservation Board, and Zoning Board of Appeals are meeting remotely and the public is encouraged to participate. Watch or listen in to the public hearing by visiting the Mayor’s Office YouTube channel. The channel’s site will alert viewers when it is live, at the dates and times listed on the Land Use Boards and Commissions page. Public hearing agendas are also provided on that page, as well as an interactive map showing active cases.
